Any info on some strange old lures

Took these down from the wall where they’ve hung for decades. They seem to be hand carved from some tropical hardwood. The builder was creative and artistic and took a fair amount of time to build these. I get the impression that he didn’t make a lot of one design, may have been prototypes. They weigh from 1 to 2.3 ounces, the weighting was carefully done. They’re either through wired or hooks are held in with a screw. One has a screw eye that’s anchored in the lead weight.
Anyone out there have any idea who might have made these?

Really cool. #4 in the top pic looks similar to a weird solid plastic plug called a "Sea Pearl" that was around in the early 70's. I wonder if it is a coincidence?

Fill the bathtub and grab a leader to snap on.

I'd hafta see how they swim, if I had them ;)

Bathroom is being renovated so I tried the other bathroom with the shower. No action, they just laid on the bottom. Tried dragging them by the leader and they rolled over.

Wow, Patty, those are cool. Very well made. They look like they might cast OK and catch. Thanks for sharing.

You're not missing much in M. B

Bob, think I’m gonna try them on a sand beach this fall. They have a pretty big slug of lead in them. I do miss the gang at M.
