I've heard this numerous times in the last few weeks.  To me, doesn't seem plausible, but what do I know?

Several people have told me it's ok for Native Americans to cross private property in order to fish and shellfish.

Is this true?

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I highly doubt it. There are many laws concerning F&G that they are not subject too, but, I don't believe they can trespass at will. Hopefully someone can answer for sure.

Magine owning a home, say on the right side of a road, will use for fictional purposes only.

Say on the cape side where a little inlet is off the canal.

20 walk through and start fishing

Haha

Not positive but I don't think they can cross private property any more than anyone else can.  Their tribal lands are private, so I imagine ours are also if posted.
