Plug bags, newbie question

Is wading with a plug bag a pain? Can you wade with a plug bag in the winter? Is it safe to assume higher end bags more appropriate for wading?

I have never owned a bag, I currently throw my few plugs in a plastic tube and stuff it into my fly fishing sling bag. It’s not submersible, so I can’t go as deep as I’d like.

spend the money on a better bag. I have an ebb point 2 tube by Miguel rios and I love it. Super comfortable and light and very good quality. I barely even notice its there!

Get a quality bag made of sail cloth like a Gear Up, ODM or custom Flatlander, and you can beat the hell out of it. Just hose it off every time along with the rest of your gear, and it will last a long time.

You don't have to go all high end and expensive.  Mak bags are much cheaper and take as much of a beating.  Mine is going on 10 yrs and no issues.  And it's the only bag I've used in that time.
