Elizabeth Holmes will use insanity defense

Yes folks, Elizabeth Holmes, disgraced founder of Theranos who is facing trial for felony wire fraud charges, is going to invoke an insanity defense. Does anyone here think that she could possibly be insane?  First photo is her during her Theranos heyday, next one is a pre-trial appearance. Defense lawyers always recommend getting plastic surgery before trial, especially when you are up on charges of defrauding investors.

Theranos is definitely a crazy story. Holmes, while not crazy IMO, may be shrewd enough to sway a jury.

She might have to use crazy eyed ESP, I dont think her lawyer will call on her

Insanity defenses are always low-probability-of-success arguments. To have a shot, the defendant needs to show a clear, long term history of mental health problems.  She doesn't have that.

She conned journalists, corporations, politicians, and VCs. I think she will convince  (con) her lawyer to give her chance to con a jury.

I see things and hear voices. Let it be noted.

ten years from now I’ll get off on insanity. Thanks.
