Boot studs

Hey all,

Just wanted to share some experience with you.  I have a pair of regular wading boots by Or is with rubber studded soles.  In the beginning, I've added these hex head studs which work ok but it feels like they flatten and rust out too fast.  So I'm trying these other studs that were made for tires.  Planning on trying it out on the slippery rocks this weekend.  Anyone tried these studs that were meant for tires before?  Here are some pics.

Like Fishy says, Kold Kutters work really well

I've used them before, but I get the same results.  They do grip well.  But I'm gonna try these new studs for now.  Was just wondering if anyone used them before.

I find the tire/ice studs with carbide tips to be better than the kold kutters.  That said, they wear down over time as well.....just not as quickly.
