Hello all,

would you pls give me a recommendation for rod and reel to start jigging for flukes, my budget about $500. Fluke jigging would be new to me and I have done many other offshore jigging before.

I will mainly use this set up for party boat from De to Jersey.

thank you

Shimano Tranx 200 or 300. Beast. I have the lexa as well thats good too. Dont sleep on a shimano trevala spinning rod with a reel of your choice. I have it with a shield. Spinning rod bucktailing is very underrated.

I'm using a Jigging World Nexus rod with a Kastking Kapstan and like it very much.  less than a $300 combo and has been a pleasure to fish this season.
