The US Postal Service, claiming that it faces annual losses that will mount to $18.2 billion has announced that it will go ahead with the elimination of up to 264 mail processing centers around the country, reducing the postal workforce by up to 155,000 jobs, on top of the 130,000 jobs that have been cut over the past three years.

Oh wait.

That was Hussein who did that

President Obama on Monday outlined a plan to destroy tens of thousands of jobs at the United States Postal Service (USPS) and cut health and retirement benefits.

The proposals for “postal reform” were part of his $3 trillion deficit reduction plan, which includes devastating cuts in Medicare and Medicaid.

Likely, because it wasn’t spouted 24/7 by the MSM.

Sad part is, that many jobs were **** canned and they still lose $2B a quarter!

Exactly. MSM didn’t make a big deal out of it, so no one cared.  Those are 45-60k jobs, Democrats don’t care about those people. Never did.

If Republicans were trying to use mail in voting to rig the election, then there would have been outrage. Otherwise, business as usual. Socialism takes care of all, even those out of work.

10-15 years ago most people would have been able to live with less then 6 days a week of mail. Now, with Amazon delivering the next day and this world of instant gratification, suicides would rise if people could not get their orders within hours of placing it.

Serious question...

Who needs mail delivered 6 days a week?

Who else will deliver all that junk mail (garbage) 6 days a week?

Just now, Cliff Huxtable said:

Obama's move was an economic one.

Trump's is not an economic move, it's a political one.

The act of a desperate man clinging to a sinking ship.

It's only political because Democrats and their MSM lapdogs made it so.

The problem is the postal union. High paid workers that do nothing. Most of the rank and file workers are ok it's the Union top dogs that is the problem.
