Gas up the boat!

Its flat ass calm. PERFECT!

Power aimlessly to every shoreline that a  spot  burn?

Wait!...I see birds out far in the  bay a few miles..GUN IT!

Bluefish..OK hook a few..that was fun.

Oh, Wait. Last splash was something  bigger!

Casting furiously...nadda. Silence.

Oh, busting fish and bird diving another  mile away ..GUN IT!

Wait, lots of boats gathered back near shore...GUN IT!

Its a $hit show rodeo of bumper boats.

Funny pods are  are the boats. Few hook up.

Full frenzy blowup a foot off my stern. Can't cast. They're gone.

Incoming lures from the fleet, a moment late.

Out of here!

On my boats...I see action!

Found them!..Fish ON! this close? I can't moter..too shallow.

They swim right  under me.

Back up to deeper water to cast range..snag the rocks..

Retie..same exact color..because it worked...

Cast into the wheelhouse of frenzy...snubbed...and again..

Picky..picky fish..

Change color...Bluefish.

Change back and downsize..

Fish ON! Its a nice Albie!

Next chance..FIsh ON!..its Bone!

Next cast..Fish ON!..its a Spanish mack!

Now they're gone.

Here comes the fleet...

Silence...then...4 or 5 hours later....

Pull the  boat.

Gas up.

Get some  zzzzzz.

Next day..

Funny fishing has its brief moments, its frustration and its expense.

Don't count on a report.

Find your own fish.

I find it endlessly fun and interesting. This year I may be forced to sit most of it out due to what work and family requires.

Even one albie is a good day.
