Heard on the radio today that the 9th circuit court in California today came down with a decision that restrictions on magazines are not legal.  How does that effect the rest of the country?  Anyone?

not just AR mags, all mags.

the ruling covers the area covered by the 9th circuit court.

a panel of 3 judges ruled.

the state could appeal to the full 9th circuit.

the state could appeal to the supreme court.

At the moment it only covers the Western States that are within the 9th Circuit. The California AG said he is going to appeal to the next higher level. I would say from what I read this is a beginning and not close to being resolved. But it is the first positive news in some time.

Stare decisis.

Test cases in NJ /NY and other prohibitive jurisdictions could force the district courts to accept this decision.

Since NRA was the driver behind the case in CA I assume they are now rolling the test cases.
