Was Occupy a Successful Movement?

Question is the title.

The reason I ask is that the Occupy Grand Poobahs have decided to rekindle that flame.

I see no changes spawned from that movement, Wall Streetersare still Wall Streeting, banks still banking.

Did I miss the massive changes?

Why restart a failed movement?

I mean, besides Trump.

yes and no.

flawed and failed in many ways,

but did bring a message to young people.

I think the GOP is a doomed party because young adults see that the GOP economic policies benefit a small percentage of the uber rich,

and unlike the older people of today, racism and misogyny isn't an effective lever to motivate them to vote against their self interest.

The only thing that came out of the Wall Street one was that 1percenters was coined.

This one I see might just be a revamping of CHAZ  CHUD CHAD whatever it was called.

It will be aimed at provoking law enforcement to react and could easily turn into another Portland.

Look for the media and cohorts refer to it as a peaceful gathering/protest/encampment however that moniker will be far from the truth

Uber rich seems to be a very low bar these days.

Anyone not living off their parents or govt welfare i guess,  because any 15/hour drooling halfwit can buy an index fund and join the ownership class.

Is a fast food worker now a member of the privileged class of investors?

Sure it was successful, America got to see a pile of miscreants , losers, drug addicts, and crazies all occupying a park surrounded by people going to work every day and making a living. In all fairness these idiots made me an awful lot of overtime and I did get a kick out of the communism class that was given each evening.

I dont need to be uber rich.

The pont is that life isn't all that complicated or hard and if you sissies would stop whing and throwing tantrums over your crappy lives for 10 minutes you might actually start down the road of taking care of your own needs.

But i don't care what you do.   Just don't block traffic, loot, vandalize or assault decent people.

Starve and die.  Just do it quietly please.

LOL,

Trickle down economics is a failed ideology,

discussing the need to address and revise  economic policy isn't whining and tantrums......

Communists don't like trickle down.  Everyone's money should trickle up to the government.  Keep everyone stagnant.  Growth isn't fair.

Disagree.

They LOVE trickle down as long as it's FROM the government and not from private citizens/companies.
