Wondering if anybody else had 1 of these back in the day ?

I just came accross an old quail & pheasant license

from 1998 that I had.

It cost $25- then, and here is exactly what it says.

License Provisions : In accordance with and pursuant to

the provisions contained in Chap.131 of the Mass.Gen.

Laws and in 321 code of Mass.Regs.part 2.12,the licensee

above named may possess, liberate, and recapture, but not

sell except under authority from the Director,up to 25

quails or 6 ring necked pheasants or 2 chukar partridge

for the purpose of training dogs. This license is non-

transferable and expires on Dec.31 of the year of issue,

unless sooner revoked for cause.Interesting, huh ?

I'm wondering if our paths may have crossed at some point? Have done a fair amount of trial judging. Both AKC and American Field. Trialed for some time as well.Seems like you did more AF trials than AKC.

Sucks to trial in MA now. A Warden has to be hired and be on grounds. As though all clubs have that kind of money,

Does anyone trial at Crane anymore?

Oh yeah. Long time Brittany guy too.

Well,if they trial anywhere in N.E.,It's probablly foot handled. The horse

wrangler for most of those trials back then was a great friend of mine.

I never did do a AF trial, stopped altogether when the politics got to

deep for me.

I’ve done both foot handled and horseback. Flaherty in CT being my home grounds but have travelled all over the East trialing.

back then the wrangler’s first name was Wayne. I believe he was from PA.
