Just curious, how did you happen to catch it at Mo Beach?

Wow, are they up this far?

I cut open a bass from a CC bay beach that was absolutely loaded with them.

@sams does it bury itself in the substrate?

I've only got them accidentally in scallop drags.

I caught one off the dock in a mo beach 30 years ago.  My kids scooped this one up past the little bridge.

Mo Beach and Little Bay have always had quite a few of them.

Thanks.

Becareful handling those. They'll put a hurtin on ya.

Also known to crack aquariums.

But they're really tasty.

Until I read the stomach contents thread, had no idea they were around New England.    Only knew of them thru asian foods
