Fishing This Upcoming Storm/ Experiences Fishing Storm

Was thinking about getting off my ass and hitting the surf this week for the weather system coming in, Tuesday is supposed to be real snotty in the Brooklyn/ Long Island area. Anyone else gonna go out? Any tips / recommendations?

Fish the day or two before.....maybe early the day it is to arrive....

Forget the next couple of days......just an opinion

What are you fishing for?  I fish Long Island Nassau County and this time of year there are tons of Rays and Sharks.  Big bass I would guess have moved north and east and are crushing porgies  in Montauk.  I’m not sure what benefit the storm brings this time of year.   
 

Give me a storm I November, early I don’t like the cold, and I’ll be happy!

Bass, there’s a hold over population by me but they are in deep fast water. People have been getting them on the boat. On Tuesday I had 3 fish in the 15lb class . Figured maybe somewould come into shore following bait getting pushed in from the storm with the change in water temperatures. Few weeks ago by not to far from me out East a dude was fishing some weather and hooked up with what could’ve been a 40lb fish and landed it bitten in half by a shark. Still a few lurkers around just gotta put in the work which I’ve only been doing on the boat lately.
