Our 1st Fluke till you Puck Fling was over the top.

Everyone had fun fishing, eating, drinking.

Now this is our eighth year in a row.

That's quite a record of consistency.

Too bad the record is for not meeting.

Sea bass are easy. At 3 fish per man I could limit out in a half hour!

Last week we had a 2 man limit in 10 minutes one day.

That might be the way to go?

Just a thought .... Maybe pick a day after Labor Day, shore fish together like a place like Quonnie or some other area with ample parking. Bring a small travel grill. People can brings a few dogs, sausage, or burgers, and drinks. Keep it that simple.

Kind of like icebergs with warmer weather! Camp Cronin might be a good spot.

I was just thinking the East Wall too in early September.

Great place to fish for albies and stripers with surf sticks which most do here on this forum.

That covers all the options for a small group perfectly.

Plenty of parking.

Plenty of social spacing.

Good chance to catch a  few fish.

Raft the cars together and grill.

If some don't wish to bring meats, there is always take-out at Iggy's and Aunt Carrie's close by.

No sign-up sheets.

Don't have to coordinate any list on bring items.

Just show up. Who ever comes is all good.

BYOB .... Bring your own beverage!

We need a date and time. Best bet is during the week in the afternoon.

The albies will be here after or around Sept. 7th.

O.K. I’ll start a new thread.
