Damn, back to the way I grew up then I guess, actual maps you hold and you have to actually pay attention to road names etc.

Actual maps? You mean like the Rand McNally Road Atlase I have stashed at the back of my drivers seat, the one that hasn't been taken out of there in 12 years?

Used my standalone Garmin yesterday without a problem.

Yup those things, they're in my garage somewhere.

Only the Mrs. car has GPS, my 2020 Pilot is a lower end model than her Pilot 2020, it's nice but not losing sleep over not having it.

Smart the way Honda does it, same engine etc., it's cake decorating that drives up the cost.

The chit only happens with the Russians.  Type to press Putin on this cyber blackmail crap?

Just read about it.........$10 million payment demanded.

Not sure why any company would ever pay them. It just creates more of it.......

These hackers in the blackmail business hail from Russia.  It is becoming a serious issue here in the states.  Perhaps Washington should push Putin to do something, no?

I use the stars and planetary alignment.

Zackaly...in the history of global travel nothing bad has ever happened to voyagers who use dead reckoning.

Nothing bad, except getting lost.

If Columbus would have had GPS, we wouldn't have Indians 7000 miles from India.

You know why they call that form of navigation Dead Reckoning, don't cha?

When they didn't show up at the appointed time, the question was asked,  reckon they are dead?

Am I a bad man for wishing we had the political will to have someone just whack these guys?  As far as I’m concerned, they’re Russian proxies and irregular enemy combatants.
