Just find the price of the rods and reels new.Now…….used,pristine start around 70% of new and go down from there.The market will tell you.Sometimes a classic rod or reel will rate a higher value due to rarity and "collectability".

You know what you paid for your gear.

Don’t rely on someone else telling you what it’s worth.

Rather, think about what’s the lowest amount you’d be willing to take to give it up and go from there.

I never sold anything where I didn’t feel that I lost quite a bit of money.

But sometimes I make a new friend and get a sense of satisfaction knowing I gave them a good deal.
