Absolutely correct, if you're talking about the Biblical principles that founded this nation.

 

The only religious system of assumptions that drove our founding were Judeo-Christian beliefs:

 

1) All humans are created in the image of God

2) All humans are equal before God

 

The philosophical ideas that we base our creation and rights on rely on those key assumptions

 

There's no 3/5ths in that equation, so that made that idea untenable over the long run, much like slavery itself.

I know Jimmy likes to be humble about this, but it was he, and not Cochrane, who was the real inventor of warp drive. You should show more respect.
