Each year I find them in truly targetable numbers by the third week of July. They’re on the doorstep. Albies were in Buzzards Bay by the third week of August last year. Earliest I’ve seen that. They usually hit the bay in really good numbers the first or second week of September.

I’m going to get out and start looking for these guys pretty soon. Fingers crossed they show up. Last year did not find any.

Spanish ? hard to see the yellow spots in the pic.

The Spaniards were in good numbers, caught 2 off the rocks and saw another one caught by a buddy in a different spot. Our first Spanish macks. Really wish I had a shot at a king from shore

I fished the mouth of a CT River last weekend and the surface water temp was already 78 degrees.
