Search Mojarro, see if that’s similar. Looks like it to me. The jaw reminded me of the ones I’ve caught.

Was using Fish Bites off of the shore and he hit it and took the drag out a bit.

This is the biggest problem people have when cast netting. They end up getting young of the year game fish.

True, I netted this. Any guesses? One tip,if you saw inside its mouth itd be a dead giveaway. Definitely shouldn't be used for bait. Caught in brackish water nw fl

Speckled trout, I had no idea until I saw the 2 fangs in its mouth. Probably would make amazing trout bait but I tossed it back.

Can they take everything if they want to? We are having a discussion in NE about enacting a law do to just that.
