Looks like this may have replaced the Stradic Ci4 in the line up??? But it’s new regardless.... Have not found much other than the FB announcement...

It appears it dropped some weight, not much. Still not as light as Vanquish.

 

Top chart is Vanford, bottom chart is Stradic Ci4.

Running Stradic  CI4’s has always been cool in my “hood”!

 

Not so sure the Vanford will have the same panache 

 

Dumb name after all these years establishing the Stadic CI 4 brand....

Wonder if the the Vanford gear ratios on the chart are correct - or if the naming system has gone wrong. 

The 5000 XG is 6.2:1, whereas the 3000 HG is 6.4:1. The 4000 is 6.2:1 - usually if there is no 'XG' or 'HG' attached to the name, it's a PG reel.
