If ya didn’t buy the prevail already , I’d look at the battalion . Fuji guides and seat make it well worth the few extra bucks . But the prevail will be fine

Small guides do  not make them braid friendly guides ..

There is more to it than smaller guides, at what distance is the first form the reel spool? to close of a first guide and the small guide will choke the line trying to pass through it. That reel has a wide spool.

Thank you still learning this is my second yr

go ahead and get the prevail, then go fishing.

I have one 10 ft 1-4 oz more like 2-6 oz,winch style

my wife fishes with a 9 ft 3/4-3 oz  spinning with a BG 20 on it and she uses 15lb mono and loves it.

Look up the infamous gosa wobble with low rider setups .. still think the battalion is much better and will last many more years then the prevail . Just my two cents

I'm not no professional but I think some of the hoses have the wobble right out of the box I don't think it has anything to do with low rider set ups
