Dude, you sound rediculous with this morality enforcing religious mumbo jumbo. We have a seperation of church and state in this country. The government has zero place regulating things like "blasphemy, homosexuality, pornography, defining what the "family" is, etc.

I'll let what I highlighted speak for itself.

Well actually the government does play a role in defining behavior. Of course it does, otherwise people would be taking child brides, ones that they have purchased. It has a role in determining when lies cause harm. What to do when  fathers run off leaving their children uncared for, etc etc.

The Constitution does not say that there is a separation of church and state. That was an explanation of what someone thought it said from many years back. It reads that the government cannot not establish a religion. Big difference. The belief that there is a separation comes from a reading of a letter Jefferson sent to someone concerned that they would be forced to trade their current religion, for one imposed upon them by the government. His letter’s intent was to calm them, not establish principles.

It should be revisited one day as the Bill of Rights is quite clear, and states that religious beliefs are not to be hindered. One could claim that it doesn’t say that worship services cannot be hindered during a flu out break, therefor church is closed until the government decides the flu is all gone for good. Clearly that would be a foul, and what has occurred has been abused by government officials. Some were determining that churches would remain closed, but that marches for political purposes were not. This type pf political picking of winners and losers is exactly what the Bill of Rights was intended to prevent.

So there is no separation of church and state in the Constitution, only an interpretation that there is, and that has been applied far too widely.

Do you kiss your mommy with that boot licking mouth.

Your a perfect example of a world view so narrow that everyone and everything has to be sandwiched into two narrow boxes. The, "law and order" god fearing, trump worshiping, good christian (authoritarian right) box and the "others", the libs with Antifa and BLM.

What happened to the libertarian right of spectrum. Oh that's right, shades of gray don't fit into your narrow little black and white world view and anyone with a "conservative" outlook absolutely has to agree with you or they too are a damn "lib"

Without a meaningful Agenda the Left must take a Battle position.  It gives the appearance that they are fighting for their peeps:dismay:

Got to agree with that. It's hard to accomplish anything when you splinter into a dozen competing factions and spout conflicting nonsense.

Too late, too polarized. Your free speech has done much to destroy America. Enjoy it while it lasts.

When the words 'shall not be infringed' are included in an Amendment, any compromise on limiting that is an infringement, no?

What parts of the Free Speech Amendment would you like to compromise on?

What part of a speedy, and fair, trial would you like to compromise on?

I could go on, but only the slow ones don't get the point.

Yup. Patriotic culture. One that proudly served his country. One that believes in this country and is appalled at the chaos created by the Democratic party's TREASONOUS ACTIONS. One that is PISSED OFF watching our citizens assaulted, our children murdered (including the senseless slaughter of black Americans by other black Americans), our cities burned, people's livelihoods looted, AND the continuous war the left has waged against the country I LOVE.I

A man of patriotic culture that knows that people who twist and distort our Bill of Rights to fit their socialist agenda are our biggest threat to the country I LOVE. People that believe, like YOU, that cessation of "order" in the name of protesting is acceptable. Want proof? Isn't it odd that you would exclude "law and" from your earlier statement that the breakdown of "order" was acceptable in your opinion? Is not "law and order" a guaranteed right.....a Constitutional right? Acceptance of the breakdown of one inevitably leads to the breakdown of the other....that is WHY the phrase "law AND order" is vitally important in our Bill of Rights.

So you're damned right I'm a man of culture....PATRIOTIC CULTURE.

Very well put! Rights are only rights so long as you support them in their entirety, even when you don't personally agree.

question for discussion....... how does a person who loves America compromise with a person like Colin Kaepernick?

They still use it.  Their definition: Compromise, the act of having conservatives give up half their interests while liberals give up nothing.
