328 million people and we have a choice between a guy who might have early stage dementia or a guy who in the last 4 years put the economy in the toilet, and has made a total mess of America, where did we go wrong?

Your facing a pandemic with folks who refuse to use common sense .The govs shut down the states not the pres ... So if you feel the economy is in the toilet get off your ass and find a job or reinvest your bonus money /401k s into something that is making money...or leave the country .

Unemployment 2016 4.5 percent 2020 12 percent, excuses are for liberals. I do agree with you that Trump lacks common sense.

i actually hate excuses too, but this one's legit...

It would be if other countries made the mistakes Trump made but they did not. A quote from today, seniors in Florida "He blew it"

BTW, if you don't understand why Trump was elected then I can only guess that you have not been paying attention or are satisfied with the prio status quo.

Too many people fed up with two side of the same bad penny.

Unfortunately too many people did not see that Trump is not mentally competent to be President.

Trying to blame this pandemic induced economy on Trump makes you look impossibly stupid or maybe just impossibly partisan.

Other countries when they saw the virus coming they did it right, Trump did it wrong, stop making excuses.

I totally agree, we have some very talented Republicans who would do a good job leading the country if only people would stop making excuses for our presidents mistakes. There is hope, thanks for sharing:)

It might take a while but here is a good starting point, thanks for asking:)'Many will be tempted to see the tragic coronavirus pandemic through a solely partisan lens: The Trump administration spectacularly failed in its response, by cutting funding from essential health services and research before the crisis, and later by denying its existence and its severity."
