I haven’t kept up with each incremental generational change, but I have owned a GEN3 Glock 23 in 40 S&W for years now.  It has been a 100% reliable handgun for me. OH

Buy it.

Gen 5 Glocks have the marksman barrels.

The trigger bar doesn't use a spring any more to connect to the trigger mechanism housing.  Glock took out a potential failure point here.

It has the beefier Gen 4 double recoil spring.

Get a grip plug for it ($10) and put some real Glock steel sights ($30) on it and you are good to go.

It seems to have steel sights its the MOS version

Ya did good. :th:

Get a grip plug ("butt plug").

The achilles heel of the Glock is dirt/sand getting into the frame from that little hole.

yup....plug it.

How come Glock doesn't address/fix that problem themselves? Sounds like an almost no cost fix for them.
