I had one. I just recently sold it here on SOL. I loved that boat. I had several kayaks at the time and my wife wanted her garage back, so now I’m left with only one kayak.

Anyway, super fun boat. It’s fast, it tracks straight as an arrow, handles bigger water just fine, and is stable enough for standing. It’s lightweight, small, and very agile, and is the perfect boat for river floats. The deck is very well designed. It’s flat and wide open and it drains water very well if you happen to take a wave in your lap.

The only thing I ever complained about was how the 4 rod holders were installed. The rod holders point onboard slightly, so when you put a rod in each hold, they would cross-cross behind you and sometimes it was a pain in the butt if they got tangled. Other than that, I loved everything about the boat. I only got rid of it was to make room in my garage.

Thanks for the help, Matt.

I have a 13.5 with a rudder now. I don't expect the Flint to be as fast but I didn't want to be disappointed.

Unfortunately, I can't get the color I want without either $150 shipping or waiting 4 weeks so grey and black it is. I'm picking it up this week  I can hardly wait
