The harbor is pretty small so there’s not much room to fish with all the boat traffic coming in and out. It’s an easy paddle out into the bay though. There should be some schoolies around. You could also park at Corn Hill Beach and launch from there.

It's sticker time at all the beaches. So be prepared to pony up.Pamet hbr. you can't load over the guard rail so you'll be ponying up to use the ramp there too.

Sadly my weekend in North Truro is over. Was spectacular.  Capt Mario from Hindsight charters did an outstanding job sat afternoon on our 4 hour trip on their 32’ Sea Vee.  Crept out of rock harbor and once clear, we flew out to Billingsgate where it was nonstop action.  The three of us each has a keeper and a pile of others in the 26-27” range.  Wire line and jigs ruled, hard work jigging like that but fun nonetheless.   We started off by trolling Sabikis through the mountain of fish that we were marking ... but only hooked up that way once.  Two more passes with the Sabikis and he canned it and switched us up to jigging and it was lights out.  For a young kid Mario really was superb and we had a blast despite some rain during the last hour.

Dinners at Macs and the Pearl In Wellfleet were as enjoyable as they can be given the Covid non sense.  The bloody Mary and fish stew at Bublas for lunch in P-Town today was great as well.  This after we did the walk through the Peaked Hill Bars this morning to the ocean.

We did not end up launching the kayaks.  Wind wasn’t favorable when we wanted to go so ended up just fishing the beach on the bayside in front of the house.  Picked up a handful of schoolies each  ... minnows really.  10-12” fish.

Can’t wait to go back in the fall.  Hoping my buddies access to this spectacular house in North Truro doesn’t end anytime soon!
