The last three times I've seen cars parked next to the meadowbrook bridges. Did they stop enforcing this? Its always the minivan and white bucket crowd

Yep same crew there the last few days-- I dont get it, but with my luck I'd have a ticket or get towed immediately lol.

Regarding west end 2 taken from another site, I guess exclusive use by permitted fishermen didnt last more than a few days....hopefully things dont turn into every other field.

Noooooo.. it’s going to fill right up

It's been public before, permit only before as well, ultimately the public reopening was inevitable for the purposes of revenue once the nature center is finished.  Just a sketchy time with all the crowding going on to the east and limited parking available..... one can only hope.

east end beaches are an absolute chit show... I was hoping WE2 would stay by permit only through the fall.

Absolute honey hole for undersized fish.

Easy... half the people reading these comments are bucket draggers.

the state needs to crack down on parking permits.

Suppose the ConDock is still permit only  24\7 ?

Yes, and hopefully that never changes.

WE2 being a decent walk to the beach usually keeps many of the casual beachgoers at bay anyway.

I hear their still enforcing pass-only access as of tonight

Yeah I went to visit last night and they had someone idling in their car by the bay. All the signs are still up that say it’s closed so I asked again to make sure it was okay. Showed him my permit and he said go ahead.
