As I remember, you were getting some nice bass on a smaller swimmer, dark colored. Am I misremembering?

I seem to remember a 30 year plan, with replenishment every 5 or 6 years.

When I ran into the guys back in 1995-96 just starting the first section of 'replenishment' in Spring Lake I was told by someone with a clipboard that was interviewing onlookers that the contract was for fifty years in five year intervals :blackeye:

The only jetty I ever got washed off of.

Same here! I got moved backwards about five feet on Neptune Ave once when a three foot deep pre-hurricane swell rolled down the length of the jetty...but the only time I ever left my feet was on Garfield.

If you don’t count the time I fell backwards into the flume outflow of 8th Ave around Christmas :scared: That was a slip and fall, not a wave though...

No question you and I were there at the same time

1977 through 1982 I was there a lot

I was the guy with the Irish Wolfhound

It used to be 15-20 feet deep off the end of Marine.   One of the deepest ends of the jetties.    Now it’s about 5 feet. :(
