another time who saw some of the worst fighting ever seen during war times. Many just out of high school who gave there lives to help keep us free. Today is D Day one of histories never forgotten places where lives were lost and or forever changed about the cruelty of war . Young heroes who never made it home some buried  in mass graves on foreign grounds , but still honored as true patriots of the United States. We all need to say thank you for our freedoms that were sacrificed by Americans with different cultures and colors and never should they be forgotten. Peace and Prayers

Visited the US cemetery in Normandy 2 years ago, walked the beach at Omaha. Very moving. God bless them all.

We had a 6 ship formation of C-47s do a flyover of my work place last year.

They were on their way to France for 75th anniversary reenactment flyovers at Normandy. 

 

One of my coworkers jumped out of those very planes for the reenactment in France.
