Salt X Grinding

So my Salt X was great after a few outings and then it started feeling geary all of a sudden. There is no increased resistance when reeling but I can now almost feel the gears as the they turn like a very quick pulsating, not a tick but it is clearly the gears turning. When I push the handle in hard as I reel it goes away.

I did not take it apart or doing anything to it. I also didn’t dunk it or reel underwater, just a light rinse after.

Any suggestions? Or should I send it back?

Thanks

Same thing happened to me! I returned it and got a new one and now its doing it again. Eff tsunami. What a real piece of garbage. I threw mine in my fire pit.

Hate to join the bandwagon but send it back to Tsunami/Folsom. I got mine replaced and its been great since, but I'm honestly worried about longevity with the last few weeks of posts here. Good luck bud.
