How would you rate these if you had to choose in order from 1 most important to 5 least important.

Tide

Wind

Moon phase

Water temperature

Water clarity

I ask this question because after reviewing some years of log and most of them have been consistent for me.

1.Water temperature

2.Moon phase

3.Tide

4.Water clarity

5.Wind

Yes different locations need different conditions , I am just stating this generally . When I have 3 to 5 of these conditions line up it usually is a Successful outing.

I’m assuming this question is in regard to surf fishing, right?
- With the beaches I fish most often tide & wind are definitely top.
- When I’m on a big fish hunt  I find water temp & moon phase to be essential.  ( 68Degrees & 3 or 4days before or after new moon)

- If your talking boat fishing then tide gets switched to current speed.
