If the Governors of the most populous blue states, and I might add now responsible for the highest death rates, were concerned enough to have had instituted proper barrier control procedures, these numbers would have been lower.

Each state has different lockdown rules and timing, put in place by the Governor of that state, not Trump, so they must bear ultimate responsibility for their own numbers of deaths.

Hindsight is wonderful, particularly when it is politically expedient.

There is a word in the title of the article and the first sentence you may need help with.

estimate

verb (used with object), es·ti·mat·ed, es·ti·mat·ing.

to form an approximate judgment or opinion regarding the worth, amount, size, weight, etc., of; calculate approximately:

That means it is an OPINION of what would have happened. There is no way of knowing exactly what would have happened. There are many scientist and doctors that believe until there is a cure the number of deaths will not change, no matter what. The only change is the amount of time it takes. That is only an opinion as well, do you want to smear that across the NYT?

Here are some more opinions the leftists choose to ignore:
  • How many lives would have been saved if DeBlasio hadn't encourage people to go out on the town, despite the virus.
  • How many lives would have been saved if Cuomo, Murphy, and Wolf hadn't returned infected patients to nursing homes.
  • How many lives would have been saved in NYC residents hadn't fled to surrounding states to infect others.

Hindsight is always 20/20.

Damn shame the experts advising Trump in March were saying the virus would not be a problem.

Damn shame China did not tell the world the truth in January.

I wonder if these researchers use the Ferguson model.

Too bad Trump can't figure out how to just kill off the left.

He kinda is.  At first I thought this virus clearing out the old was affecting your base.

Unfortunately, a large portion are black, so in effect, Trump is killing the left.

"What have you got to lose!?"  ...for black voters the answer turned out to be "our lives."

When it involves science or math, just let others handle the response.  Thanks.

Back to cartoons.

I know that, but the Ferguson MO model is much more descriptive metaphor of the damage done, not just here, but everywhere where there was a complete shutdown.

The black man knows that China is the most racist country in the world and It's the CCP that caused the virus to spread. Why do you think blacks are stupid ?
