Pinzgaur...had to look it up...I think 70's and 80's but I am no expert. There was one with a for sale for a while ago outside a local train station and looked it up then. Looked very bare bones.

More trouble and difficulty finding parts than you'd ever imagine. Keep your credit card handy for fuel.Looks military, maybe built for difficult conditions but they all seem to always need fixun'. Convince a friend they need one, a friend you might not really risk losing.

Quigley's always seemed durable, comfortable and repairable. Gas slobs too.

I'm one for an older Willy's or Toyota Land Cruiser. The old Jeep Wagoneers were great buggys, rust always got them. Good luck but I'd stay away from owning one of them one purpose money pits.

Both the Pinzgauers and Volvo are probably more than you would need to access any fishing spot here but more off the beaten track locations around the world would have merit. The Pinzgauers is actually quite compact. I used to see them and other off-road and expedition vehicles frequently when I worked in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. I posted some of the stuff I saw up there on here before , that was back around 2013 when I was there I believe.
