Any Robin Slayers Around?

Chunks have done well for me in the past when I used bait. The skin is like leather so you only have to put the hook thru one piece of the skin. I don’t think I’ve ever caught a sea robin on sea robin chunk. Lol

I would imagine the low numbers of stripers and bluefish are helping the sea robins to thrive. Less small sea robins getting eaten and also more baitfish around for them to eat.

I have, this one epic sea robin blitz back in the early 2000's I went out chunking with 6 bunker, and they cleaned me out in an hour. The last one I caught I chunked up. Caught sea robin after cannibalistic sea robin that day. I kid you not I must have caught 50 - 75 robins that day. :rav: Why you say, well just because.
