Article link to 51lb. girl caught last week by in Hudson River...  

"Everitt Polman said when he first hooked the striped bass on the Hudson River it gave a big tug and then just sat on the bottom and wouldn’t move." <--sounds like the brown trout we used to catch in the Pepacton...somewhat :p

It's also legally required.

 

The key now is not to stress the big breeders by keeping them out of the water for weighing, measuring and photos.
