Some extra info such as where you fish and what you'll be throwing will garner better recommendations.

I have a 9 ft for lighter plugs and spoons that im planning on pairing with a 5000 stradic

Just for comparison, a spooled ZB22 weighs 21+ oz while a spooled VS150 weighs 12.6 oz.  I like as light as possible, others have different preferences depending on where and how they fish.  Just my $.02

I am using a stradic 5000 on mine. If I had to upgrade I would go with the saragosa.

That's a good choice. What determined your decision on that pairing?

If you want a great "budget" reel the daiwa ballistic 6000 is very nice, light and has good line capacity. If you don't want to spend stella/saltiga/vs prices.
