Dan Tinman
Soft plastics on lead heads are a common and very effective combination for Stripers. Lately I've been asked about oversized hooks in shad heads for use with 6" and 9" paddle tail shads. What you see below is the answer. The heads can be bare lead or painted common colors. The hooks are good, 2x strong Mustads, forged and black nickel plated. They are about as good as you can get but not cheap. You do get what you pay for. Sizes are as shown. Prices are the same for bare lead or painted. Prices: 4 oz = 3.25 ea 3 oz = 2.90 ea 2 1/2 oz = 2.60 2 oz = 2.50 ea 1 1/2 oz = 2.30 ea 1 1/4 oz = 2.00 ea Shipping is extra. Pictures: Shads are shown for comparison only. Here's a picture showing a comparison of the new larger sizes to the old regular sizes. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Thanks for looking and good luck fishing. dan Edited May 11, 2020 by Dan Tinman Bait Tailer 1 -
