Luckily the kids were well past the point of it being a thing and it was just a suntanning/reading pad at that point.

slip n slide
I don't feed birds any more bcz the feeder is a great place to spread diseases such as Mycoplasma spp, conjunctivitis, avian influenza, bacterial and viral enteritis, all highly contagious. We had a serious outbreak of conjunctivitis 15 yrs ago that wiped out almost all resident finches in our area and the disease was spread through contaminated feeders. If you have a bird bath, rinse it out daily....please? Your good intentions could actually be a threat to our feathered friends health. And I do believe there are riders available, but it wasn't worth the hassle or expense at the time.
EBHarvey
As long as you're the only ones using it who cares? Its not like your kids gonna get hurt and sue you.... I prefer peace. But if trouble must come, let it come in my time, so that my children can live in peace.

On topic: I see lots of boids, red ones, blue ones, gray ones, some sing pretty tunes and some live in an old vent in my house.
