Ever walk into your fishing cave and have a panic attack because you have three times the amount of stuff that your better half thinks you own?  Me neither, until this morning.  I have a bunch of rods not being used that need to see the salt.  Everything is priced reasonably for a quick sale.  Pickup only, I will not ship.  I’m in Mystic, CT and willing to meet anywhere in eastern CT, RI, central MA, and the cape.  Thanks for looking.

(2) Shimano Teramar TMS-E70M

Spinning

7’ 1/2-1 1/2oz 15-30# braid

Condition: One 7/10 due to a small chip in the epoxy (pictured), the other 9/10.  Excellent inshore do-anything boat or kayak rod.  I used it primarily for schoolies and sea bass. $75 for the one in better condition, $70 for the one with a chip in the epoxy.

Ugly Stik Bigwater USBWB2050C661

Lami Arra 1261MH

A friend purchased this for canal jigging, then moved to VT.  It’s in very good condition and has nice wraps.  Fuji guides and reel seat.  It’s initialed P.M.B.  $125

(3) Okuma Custom Black combos

Conventional

6’6” 20-40#
I bought these considerably discounted at West Marine with the intention of trolling mojos.  That never happened, so I’m passing on the savings.  One is brand new, two have gone on a boat ride.  The reel is the SLX-20 single speed lever drag.  These are awesome trolling combos for bass.  $150 ea

Buy everything and knock $100 off the total.  I’ll also throw in a rack and an older Abu 7000 that’s been recently serviced.

I bought that 126MH on here many years ago and then traded it for a spinning version. That 1261 MH is a great rod and feels 1000 times better than the spinning version that I have now and probably only fished 3 or 4 times.  Someone should pick that rod up, its a great deal.

I may also have owned that Abu. I think it was on the rod when I traded it for the spinner.

Hi Wall, did you put a mojo on any of the Okuma setups? How did it perform?

Thanks

Brad

Hi, the heaviest that I ran was a 20oz with an 8oz on the dropper in 50’ of water at ~3 kts.  I had them rigged with 65# braid and a 10 yd 80# y knot leader.  The rods pulled them beautifully, it’s just not my preferred way to fish for bass.

Hi Sam, thanks for the kind words.  I’d keep it, but I don’t fish conventional.  The abu did come with it as a package if I remember correctly.  The guy you traded it to is now duck farming in VT and fishing trout streams with a 4 wt... a big change of pace haha.

Ah, I see... so if I have anything posted for sale here it can’t be sold word of mouth?  If you’d expressed interest and told me you were working to arrange pickup, I would’ve held it for you in the meantime.  I’ve been a member here for over ten years and I’m well aware of the rules.

He’s a member here, I’ll tell him to login and post “I’ll take it” so you can rest easy tonight.  “Haggling” and working out the logistics of picking something up that you haven’t committed to purchasing yet seems a little backwards, no?  I don’t care if you decide to :niffty: it or solicit a mod, but ffs don’t throw a tantrum over a fishing rod.

"negative, sarcastic, or wise-ass comments about someone's items or pricing" (or tactics) is against the guidelines....I was wrong to mention a violation of guidelines, and I'm big enough to admit being wrong.
