Guys sometimes when I make a post , I get a notice that someone gave me a "thumbs up"...........sorry for my cyber ignorance but I assume that means they are supportive and or agree with my post....I am I correct ?........sorry for the stupid.........thanks

Here, in USA , yes, it means good.

In some other parts of the world may be different , like

Down under in Aussie country,  thumb up have a very different meaning.

We have few members from Australia so they could chime in.

You could also get a thumbs down if they don't like your post.  See the green and red boxes just to the right on the posts ??
