Search hemorrhoid donut.
There’s a lot of interesting options that may apply here.

Personally I like to cast cowboy style, which helps get into different positions and takes less pressure off your ash.
I’m fortunate to own a Hobie Angler 16 which allows me to straddle the yak.

An opinion on inflatable seats ... tried and discarded as an option as completely lost the feedback of what the hull was doing through the "seat of my pants" ... and using hips to mitigate hull rolling action became impossible as there is little weight shift, the inflatable cushion kept the weight distribution evenly across the area it covered ... very disconcerting - for me at least. Good luck

I like this cushion, it’s like Crocs for yer bum.

I need to tether it to my crap Gen 1 Hobie seat, but it is better than the Hobie air cushion too.

I did wind up getting the surf to summit seat.  What a difference!  They sell them on Amazon and it was cheaper there than on their own website.  Worth every penny.  It was nice to stand up at the end of the trip without pain.
