I too just mailed my application in.  I was able to reach people on the phone at Parks Dept.'s main office the other day, so I'm guessing that they're working with reduced manpower.

Even though the beaches are closed indefinitely, there may be a few piers that remain open. It's a $35.00 gamble.

$35 is a small prize to pay.

Beaches can not stay closed all year around.

So, even if they open for a week or two, $35 is very well spend.

is there good access under the TOB night permit?

I just moved to this area last year and have been inching to find new digs, particularly on the NS

rather not have to drive an hour east, crawl on sand for 20min or west to find productive spots.
