I'm partial to Trulock Chokes.  Since I shoot Winchester Longbeard XR #5 shells, I use Trulock's Winchester Longbeard XR #5 choke.  Good luck in your search!  The birds are starting to get active in Delaware.

They're strutting their stuff in Connecticut, my DIL videoed one yesterday on our property.

I shoot a Hastings super full turkey ported choke on my 12g Benelli Nova...I believe Carlson bought Hastings some years ago...

my son has a Carlson super turkey choke on his 20g Benelli Nova...that gun is a freakin tack driver at 30 yards shooting 3 inch Remington #5 Premier Mag Turkey loads...birds don't flop, they simply stop moving...

Just went and bought the carlson long beard xr.....I'll take a pic when I pattern it.

I heard they make very good chokes for steel shot so I would think their lead chokes are top quality as well.

I bought a Carlson for my Dad's old 16ga to use pheasant hunting last fall. Looks like a fine enough choke. Went to pattern it and the gun wouldn't fire. Remembered my brother did something to the firing pin when my Dad insisted on going hunting in his yard even though he wasnt capable. Haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.

For a Turkey choke I've got an extra full that sticks out a few inches beyond the barrel. Bought it several years ago, think it might be a tru glo but not 100% sure. Patterns well though.

Carleson, briley, tru glo, patternmaster all make good chokes.

Gotta experiment with loads. Some like buffered plated shot, some don't. Some like higher velocity shells, some don't.

Winchester supreme #5s in 3" are my gold standard. Not super tight but a good solid pattern to 40 yards.
