The death toll that will never be quantified

How many people are going to die due to cancelled routine care visits, mammograms, colonoscopies, fear of going to the ER with chest pains or stroke symptoms, suicide, lower quality of life with less exercise, etc while we flatten the COVID curve? Just the depression and anger of having a business that you put your life into get wiped will take its toll. We'll never know how many will die preventing COVID deaths, but it will be more than negligible.

My wife runs a medical billing company that mostly deals with municipal billing for EMS. Billing is dead. No one is calling for the rescue.....

Fear of contamination? No injuries from going out? Staying home and taking it easy is not causing people to overdue? All the above?

Add that to cancelled doctors appointments and cancelled elective surgeries and who knows what the toll is....

We should think up a ribbon we can wear.

I've been saying the same thing. People just stare.

OTOH, less traumatic injuries

No one seems to care about all the young people that will eat a bullet or jump out of a window because they lost everything.  Our suicide rate is high enough, it’s gonna go way up the next year.

Our GP is doing virtual drs visits. I called for an appointment and said I’d like to come to the office. No problem, I was seen a couple days later. The whole staff is wearing masks for obvious reasons. I had my temp taken prior to being able to enter the building.

A week ago had an out patient procedure done related to a kidney stone. I’m in a hospital setting, not a major place but one none the less.

Im walking in offices if I have to, and calling 911 if I had to.

You pinkos were wrong about this thing.  We HAVE the IHME model, the original, we see how bad YOU people said this would be.  The blood is on your palsied shaking hands.

Here is a new model from John Hinderacker of powerline.  It is as accurate as the peoiple that are counting for this year.

The socialists ****ed this up.  Not the conservatives or the patriots.  Go get a mirror

Not what he was saying at all, but your need to be outraged about something is duly noted....
