Venison lasagna was on the menu this week. Made all the meat sauce then layered with lasagna noodle and multiple cheeses. 08679CB5-4068-4766-A547-F255F5D26132.jpeg.31f15433fb76e81749f00b469aab9c55.jpeg361E2B90-9385-4209-AC50-8EC19D146318.jpeg.3dad12630a65d7ed144743a849141df2.jpeg

Was gonna grill a ribeye last night then it started to rain, so I cooked it in a pan with some brown butter on medium heat. I guess I don't mind the rain.

Lunch today.  My wife's been making this for years. Pounds out a chicken breast, and stuffs it with a mixture chicken pate, bread crumbs, dried cranberries, golden raisins, pistachios and dried cherries.

Bluefish?  I like bluefish.

yup!

Colin does too and gets it that the bluefish have to be bled and iced ASAP. He caught that Saturday evening out of woods hole and properly took care of it. He came home Sunday afternoon and we had it for dinner. It was double bagged and in the bottom of his Rctic cooler. Ice cold when I took it out. Soaked in Milk for an hour then a simple dredge, flour egg with lemon juice and panko. Firm meat with just enough fish taste.

We Also did a fillet on the grill with butter lemon and some Cajun spices. He made it the left over into bluefish salad.

Getting better with the Ooni oven.  One's artichoke, the other onion and olive oil.

What type of fuel does that use? I saw someone with one of those on the beach last weekend. It looked like it worked well.

Hi z man,

The model we have burns both wood and lump charcoal.  But my wife also purchased the propane attachment for it. It converts to propane in mere minutes with the use of a screw driver.

Using wood or charcoal it reaches an insane 900*. In the propane mode 500*.
