Here’s my little setup. Please disregard the crap in it from the burning. It’s not too y’all, but I dug it out so it’s 1 or two feet in the middle. It’s just full with ash and logs from the past few months.

redfishkiller thanks for the invite.

Heregoes:  A man is sitting at home and hears a knock at his front door.  The man goes over to the door, opens it, looks around nobody there!  He is about to close the door, looks down and sees a snail.  He picks up the snail, and throws it as far as he could into the field across from his home.

3 years later, sitting in his home and hears a knock at the front door.  He goes over opens the door and there is the same snail.  The snail looks up at the guy and says, "What the hell was that all about?"

My not so permanent firepit and grill solution...

bit heavy for being 12GA stainless...

but flat packs into a bag that is about 1” thick when stacked.

We live on a farm, which is country **** speak for I don’t care what it looks like.

Rim from a wheat combine. The are several curved pieces of conduit that are buried under the rim, one end exits into the pit, the other end exits beyond the side of the pit. You can hear the air intake when the fire is going. Every once in a while I use a compressor to blow out the conduit.

Yes, it is ugly and cheap
