It's not just the brand, it's the hands, the beans and the machine

No there’s not :)

I actually think he has more than one of those.

Y, did you bring an extra one of them to RI last year?

I like the coffee strong and often double pour over the grinds. I use a thick coffee mug that I warm before pouring coffee to help keep the coffee warm for a longer period of time.  A half teaspoon of raw sugar and a splash of light cream goes in the mug before the coffee.

I went to Greece last year and loved having the coffee their way. Basically boiling it on the stove top and the coffee is ground into a powder. After a boil for a minute, the coffee is poured into the cup. Wait another minute for the grounds to settle. Strong stuff and you end up with mud at the bottom when you are done.

I was taught to toss in a shot or two of ouzo into the mud and drink it. Then start your day.

I know, but I'm just trying to boost the poor bastards spirits in these dark times.  He's prolly smashing the beans on the counter with a hammer and filling the infuser with mulch...

Back in the Italy days, I’d have 2 cups of my own made coffee a day and at least two espresso shots between training sessions. **** was great.

Never heard someone refer to monkey spanking as a training session.

Imagine my surprise as I entered into a conversation with a couple who claimed that it is their daily ritual . She to him and him to her . "To ensure regularity" was their claim (I kid not). I inquired as to why they simply didn't drink it instead. They assured me that their method produced superior results. Having never experienced it myself I had no counter argument. In addition they claimed that only Hawaiian coffee produced  the best results.
