If you have pictures you’ve taken in the woods, at a backyard feeder, at sea, wherever; name them and put a picture there. Feel free to add behavioral information as well and maybe the state you live in. I find birds to be among the most fascination creatures on earth.

No pics handy but in the winter here mostly slate sided juncos, black caps and titmice with occasional invasions of cedar waxwings.

 

And always ravens, everywhere.

No pics

at sea tuna birds, gannets, gulls, terns, Cormorants none of which fly in reverse

Today I saw a turkey vulture, juncos, robins, red breasted woodpecker, doves.  Not sure if they were in mourning.  Yesterday I saw a red tail, chickadees, titmice.  Day before a barred owl.

One of my backyard pals. Sitting on eggs...should be hatching soon.

Eastern Screech Owl---red phase. Her mate is a gray phase but he is very camera shy.
