How did this discussion turn into old computer operating systems?  Anyways back to grocery stores. Has any seen any toilet paper back in stock?  We had a decent supply before this chaos started but we’re going through it quicker than usual with everyone home all day. Going to need more in another week or two.

TP is trickling back in stock. My store gets a few cases every delivery of the regular retail packs and supplements that with commercial single rolls diverted from hotels & restaurants.

Much better chance of getting some than you are wipes, bleach etc.

I'll have mine on the rocks.

Big Y in Norwood reportedly had some yesterday at about 9:30 AM.

How come no seafood

What do you mean? While the service butcher counters in most supermarkets (at least S&S and Shaws) are closed (only packaged meats available), the seafood has been open. However, yesterday i saw that S&S closed the service deli counter and emptied the case.

Reds Best has a delivery service, will deliver to your home. Lots of fresh stuff and flash frozen. Saw fresh scallops and shellfish advertised this morning.

it merely says something about our own need to be critical.

How are you doing on flour delivery ?

I can go a long time without a store, but regular flour is the one thing we are short.

Wegmans has had there own brand in stock last time I went. Northborough

I was right down the street 2 days ago @ Walmart....they actually had some TP & Kleenex.

I also bought a couple enclosed plastic packages of cold cuts as emergency food.

But watch out, the people with masks could care less about social distancing, they will come up right next to you!

Not to mention I was corralled by groups of them & couldn't get by several times!

Not coming in through regular channels. We had to get creative.

Tell ya what to do when that happens, bb1.

You start fake coughing and hacking.  Do it loudly, forcefully and noticeably.  You'll soon see those folks quickly giving you wide berth.

Also right down the street there is a 'drive through' virus testing facility @ CVS.

With police blocking the entry, checking ID's.

There are even flashing signs on both sides of rt.9 advertising it.

But only special people are allowed the test.

True enough, but his point is still valid, just substitute virus for "cooties" in his post.

Joe G,   At one time they had me pinned to the milk chest cooler....I just shrugged my shoulders, through up my hand, & had a expression of astonishment....5 or 6 of them!

A couple of them then moved their carts so I could get out.

I don't talk to people much, cutting down on the virus transmission chances.

I wish I had a mask these coming 2 weeks, but do you need to change them every outing....or there's MORE of a chance of having virus on it?
