Kanine Kleenup
I have started to throw a few dozen casts every evening to try to catch that first schoolies of the year..nothing yet... swim shad and a jumpin minnow... I know the topwater is a shot in the dark, but I love seeing a crash into the lure... hope it warms up a bit so they will move up here... yemslave

Angler #1
Some of my once early spring fishing for blue fish also brought an occasional keeper bass on the same plug swimming below the surface. pogie_boy
Depends on where you're fishing.Ā Ā Early season schoolies up in my neck of the woods is all poppers on top in one spot, but just upstream it's all grubtails as they're chasing grass shrimp in the outflow from a pond. At least for my street a bit early, maybe 10 days early. HungĀ the rods in the van today. Need a little bit of hope every day with the way things are going. Hope all are well.
